PDG is present in 56 cities and 11 states within Brazil. Its real estate projects include residential projects for various classes, from the economy segment to high-income.

Working at PDG I achieved the following:

• Developed several web applications from scratch for different departments - Learned about Agile ways of working
• Learned and improved the best development practices as automated tests, code review, and pair programming
• Developed automated scripts that helped the company to save hours of manual work and ~150K BRL
• Improved my communication skills dealing actively with internal and external clients
• Worked as Business Analyst (4 months) to gather requirements from internal clients and build software requirements specifications

Technical Stack: Python was our main programming language and built web applications mostly Django, our RDBMS was MySQL. We had unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests. Our end-to-end tests were executed with Selenium.

We used Celery to schedule our background tasks and RabbitMQ as the message broker. Redis was used in the cache layer.

We implemented our chart reports with Google API. Our frontend was built using Twitter Bootstrap CSS framework.
